YOKI (Youngsters of Knight's Institute) Hats YOKI stands for Youngsters of Knight's Institute, the knights stick together. 3 musketeer style.... YOKI started as a seasonaire project. "We were a good crew of riders from all over europe - mostly scandinavia - that started the crew. We all wanted well fitting beanies in a large variety of colors. And we wanted to stand out and have our own thing". The beanies were the perfect product for Erik and his friends who founded the company. It was kinda' cool because if I'd see someone with a YOKI beanie I would automatically treat him or her as a friend - even if I'd never met the person before.
The bennies are not just for extreme sports. There's a massive, diverse group of knights that work with and represent YOKI. Erik lists skiers, snowboarders, skateboarders and DJ's as his "knights" and claims it's just the tip of the iceberg
YOKI started back in Val d'Isere where the beanies became popular and in the 06/07 season, they secured their first deal with a shop in Val d'Isere.
The Bennies fit ridiculously well and have a sick little badge on them which is always cool.
